Question:
Help with bringing out brown eyes
Can anyone give me any tips on how to bring out my brown eyes. This is kind of urgent as its my wedding this Sat. I need to know which eye shadows would suit me - Im pale (but having a spray tan this week) and have quite dark brown eyes.
I had a makeup trial but she put browns on me and it really didnt suit me. I always tend to use pale neutral colours for everyday but want something that will show in the photos. Someone said that maybe pinks or greys would look better - im having a trial with a different artist tomorrow night but need some pointers - help!
hi i have brown eyes too and greens and purples look really nice. they can be subtle greens and purples and golds look quite nice too. also black liquid liner at the top really brings out my brown eyes but that takes quite a bit of practice and since you need something quickly maybe try the shadows instead!!:)
anything suits brown eyes i guess you'd need to match your skin instead, what colour is your bouquet? perhaps match it to this? bourjois do nice colours that aren't flat but not shimmery they're more glowy?

Thanks all. my bouquet is dark red so better not wear red eyeshadow - may look like a devil woman.
Im gonna try something different tonight and see what suits best xx
I think a soft shimmery purple/plum would look nice with your eyes & skintone  MAC's 'Shale' would look lovely & if it was too dark you could always layer another colour over it to soften it more iyswim? Also a shimmering bronze would look lovely & would really bring out your eyes too :great:
If you're looking for a high street brand then Bourjois are fab as skypark said. The little round pot e/s are really good, I think 'violet divin' would look nice or 'taupe essentiel' if it's *too* plummy.

Oh & if you want your eyeshadow to last all day then I'd really recommend getting a tube of Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion as it really does work - I know lots of other baggers love it too :D
Congrats on your wedding, I hope you find an eyeshadow that you love :)
