Question:
guerlain pure radiance
Has anyone tried this? Ive had my eye on it for ages but it is expensive and dont want to add to my ever growing stash of un-used products that ive had high hopes for and they were a big let down.

Sorry i cant help but in the here beauty bible,it came 3rd on the 'illuminator' category i think(or was it 'primer'?).
Anyway the general concern seems to be that it is good because it has real gold particles in them but nothing special and esp the price is just not worth it!The clarins beauty flash balm is sooo much better!:p

You could always ask for for a sample of it and see how it measures up , i find the SA on the Guerlain counters are really nice and helpful.

they dont do samples however if you go and buy a little pot from boots and keep it in the packaging and then ask the SA to put a couple of squirts in the tub they might!!
i love it and use it most days - its not as good as the midnight star however its much cheaper and is just fab for every day
i tell a lie i use it every day when i wear makeup and especially when my skins bad as it helps hold the makeup but gives a nice colour to the skin
it contains gold leaf which you can see suspended in the gel but melts/dissolves as soon as it gets warm on the fingers!
i would defo recommend it - but the first couple of times you might think its a bit rubbish as you have to get used to how much you let it dry before applying makeup - leave it too long and it can go bitty, same if you over rub it
eta - if you want it as a primer its much better than clarins BFB which is more of an illuminater as it doesnt really stick to the makeup if that makes sense?
