Question:
I look terrible...
I've got awful conjuctivitis and cant wear any eye make up:cmeek: I've been sent home from work cos I was scaring people.
Anyway given that I will have to throw away my mascara because its probably contaminated;) I shall have to treat myself to some nice new eye make up, so I need a new mascara and new eye liner. Is there anything new about which I need to get? It is the first time I have had a legitimate excuse to buy make up.
Well everybody was raving about max masterpiece max (or something) and I went to get it and it is FAB.

eek that's awful! :hug: I got conjunctivitis last year too, it happened to be on my birthday. I was going to cancel all my plans but then my friend and I came up with an ingenius plan to disguise it which involved using my fringe as a cover up and a smoky eye look to disguise the puffiness :lol:
It's good you were sent home though, it's as contagious (if not more) as nits apparently.
I really like YSL's false lash mascara and Mac's powerpoint eyeliner. The eyeliner is very longlasting :great:. Everyone on here raves about Urban decay's 24/7 too.

Aw hun, I know how you feel. Im prone to conjuctivitis. Have you tried Opticrom eye drops. They are excellent.
Ive just treated myself to a new eyeliner and mascara! I bought Clinique Quickliner in really black. The SA demonstrated it to me today and it feels so smooth. I also bought high definition mascara. Another fab mascara is Estee Lauder Projectionist. It does everything - lengthens, holds curl and adds volume.

Have you tried bathing in the eye in tepid water, this might help clear the infection out?
My recs for eyeliner and mascara: Chanel. Extracils and their Les Yeux eyeliner, both are really buttery soft, and won't irriate the eye by being difficult to apply.
