What's the most expensive beauty product you've ever bought?
Question:

What's the most expensive beauty product you've ever bought?
  And was it worth it?

Answers:

Mine was Biotherm skincare - cleanser, toner, moisturiser and exfoliator! Cost a bomb (can't remember exactly how much, but it was quite a lot!) and totally wasn't worth it as it didn't help my skin at all! :(

I bought the Creme De La Mer Face Cream and Eye Cream together (nearly fainted when it came to paying!):faint:
Anyway they were both rubbish. The eye cream was really drying and teh face cream felt like astral cream (in the blue tub) and broke me out horribly (gave me huge pores too).
I've now got my peepers on the SK II Airtouch Ionic Foundation spray as it really does give an airbrush finish which looks flawless but incredibly natural and is weightless. Unfortunately it costs an arm and a leg (but i fell in love with it when i got the SA to try it on my face and it didn't stick to my eyebrows either)
(Also, I keep my beauty spending i.e. the prices secret from my friends and family otherwise they would all shout at me and say i'm vain, and yes I am ashamed at how much I spend on make-up/ beauty stuff)

On one single product, it would have to be one of the Estee Lauder serum type creams which was about £55.
In a total transaction, I spent about £100 on clarins products. And have also spent around £130 on MAC products in one go (although not really beauty products!)

Since I'm a poor student, it's not very much...
foundation for 25 pounds is the most I've ever spent on one product :o
