Question:
Best high street make up counter for make up help!
Don't post much on beauty, so  !!
Title says it all really, I'd like to update my look and want to go to a beauty counter where I can just leave it in their hands to tell me what would suit me best. Anyone with any recommendations at all? Thanks!
Book into Mac or Bobbi Brown. You have to pay a fee around £25 but you can use it towards your purchases.
If you really want to go for Colour matching from base to finish go to Prescriptives who can tell you exactly what kind of skintone you have and then can customise all kinds of things like Foundation or eye shadow palettes to suit you.
You can then use that knowledge to shop at other counters to help find the best products for you.
Thank you! Unfortunately I haven't got a Bobbi Brown or Prescriptives at my local shopping area, so may have to go further afield - but I do have Mac so may try there. Have been to Mac before but didn't book an appointment, so it felt a bit 'rushed'.
I prefer to shop around at different counters.
I've never before found a counter at which I like all there products right from the base to the finishing touches.
I think MAC is prob your best all rounder really, so as NAS said, i'd stick with them.
Have fun shopping!! make sure you let us know what you buy.
