Any opinions on Avene moisturisers/spot cream?
Question:

Any opinions on Avene moisturisers/spot cream?
  For oily skin/acne..
I have tried many brands over the years but still suffer from cystic acne, uneven skin tone, redness and occasional dry patches. After persevering with TBS Seaweed moisturiser most recently, I have just purchased one of the Avene 'Cleanance' moisturisers. (The one for oily sensitive skin, contains salicylic acid.)
So far it seems to be great! Gentle but effective. Has anyone tried this or the other similar one containing glycolic acid? Or tried the spot treatment? (Diacneal I think)
I have always been aware of this brand but didn't think it was anything special... Would love to hear your thoughts!

That sounds really good. I bought the Avene eye make up remover on the spur of the moment a couple of months ago and it's now my HG. I'd love to try some more Avene things but hadn't really heard much about them but now I'm tempted to give it a go.

I recently bought a few products from the Cleanance range to be honest have not been that impressed. I suffer from Acne too and don't think this has improved my skin at all. I used the gel cleanser, the moisturiser and the water spray and eye cream. I like the eye cream the best and have continued to use this but have went back to using Freederm cleanser which I have a more visable improvement from.
I can't comment on Diacnel..maybe this would be better.

Like JSS, I wasn't all that impressed either. I had high hopes and really it was no real improvement on my 'patchwork' skincare regime ('clean and clear' foaming wash, Clarins lotion moisturisers and L'oreal exfoliation - Dalacin T for the spots)
If anything, the Cleanance K (I think) made my skin feel quite congested, for want of a better word - pretty much the opposite of what it was meant to do!
I have not tried the other product.

I use Diacneal and its wonderful, i love it :throb: :throb: , i use it for two reasons, first as an anti aging cream, and second the keep my skin clear and it does both, before i started to use it i was getting horrid cystic spots, then once into a month of using this and all clear, (i have only had them since when i tried the Boots No 7 R&R serum, stopped using it and I'm all clear again :D ) only downside i have to order it from Spain , still its worth it,
i also use the Avene thermal water spray to set my mineral makeup and thats also really nice.
