Question:
hair removal?
Hi! I don't usually come to this forum but I have a quick question for you. Does anyone know any good facial hair removal products? I used to use boots hair removal cream which worked fine but when I last bought it, the design/ ingredients had changed and it does absolutely nothing now! I've also tried veet wax strips which I've found equally useless. Anyone got a product they know works? I hate having hair on my face and I'm getting really frustrated!
Thanks so much :)
i used to use the boots cream quite happily but then found some packs didn't work whilst some did...
however, the best facial hair removal product is the epicare wand. it's a threading device and it's really easy to use. it's so quick and convenient and does a much better job than hair removing creams.
you can find it on ebay for about £9 i think including p+p.
serach epicare wand.
hth :)
I've used hair removing cream as well as waxed in the past and I think it nearly ruined my skin. The cream actually left some sort of mark on my face after I used it and made my skin go red and itchy, then I was left with a darker brown mark, thankfully that's faded now (as this was a while ago and i used a lot of vitamin K and vitamin E cream from Holland & Barrett to try and fade it). Wherever I need to get rid of hair on my face (mainly above my top lip and my eyebrows) I've been getting mine threaded lately and go here as I find they've given me nice results http://www.thepowderlounge.co.uk
When I used to wax, I found that it started to made my skin sensitive and red so I gave up on that.
Sorry I've been so slow in responding! Just wanted to say thanks for the tips :) Threading sounds like something to look into - like the look of the epicare wand.
Sophisticate, I had a similar problem with cream the first time I used it although it didn't take very long to fade and since then it's been ok - sounds like you had pretty bad luck with that! :cmdunno:
