Question:
bobbi brown or benefit
I am sorting out all my make up - fed up with buying rubbish stuff that doesn't do what I want it to do, so slowly my makeup is getting better, and as I am not wanting to spend loads and loads I am limiting mysef.
I liked the look of benefit 10, dandelion and georgia.
But having seen that girl in the cat eye tut use bobbi brown shimmerbricks - I like them too!
Bobbibrown is a few quid more expensive..
But which should I go for???
The shimmerbricks do look lovely but I actually find them a bit too shimmery for everyday wear. The Benefit powders are better if you are more after a subtle glow. TBS do shimmer waves which are similar to the shimmer bricks but I actually prefer them because they're much more subtle, and a lot cheaper too!
If you like the look of the Shimmer Bricks but wanna save a few pounds then you should check out the Body Shop Shimmer Waves which are very similar! :)
Edit: Just realised hb21 already recommended them!
Thanks for that - I was swaying more towards benefit. The hardest part to buy for is gonna be my eyes - I just don't get eye make up, how to mix colours etc and could end up spending a bomb :(

One thing I would highly recommend to use with your eye makeup (if you haven't already got it!) is Urban Decay Primer Potion, it stops your eyeshadow from creasing/fading! :)
