Fake Bake Question/Advice please
  Hello,
I don't post here often.
I've got a special wedding coming up and can't possibly wear the dress I've got if I'm as pale as I am at the moment!
Am I correct in thinking that with Fake Bake you just slather it on (after exfoliating/moisturising) and then leave the colour develop overnight? So you don't have to worry about being streaky. I need something really easy to use as I've hurt my shoulder and getting myself into knots to avoid streaks is not an option.
Thanks

Yes, you just slather it on, preferably overnight since it takes quite a long time to develop. It will stain your sheets though so don't sleep in your best sheets! The stains go away when you wash the sheets, but still.
You need to be careful when applying it, especially on drier parts like knees and elbows. Try to apply it evenly. It looks quite awful when you've applied it (I was sure it would streak the first time I appled it but it didn't, luckily!) but you'll have a nice tan once you've washed it away.
Be very careful with your hands, too, it can be hard to apply it evenly there. :cmdunno:
I'd use it a couple of days before the big day, I find it looks best the day after you've washed away the fake tan and any minor streaks will have disappeared by then.
Good luck! :)

I just thought I'd add that if you want to be 100% safe (and don't have enough time to try the Fake Bake before the big day) I'd recommend a tanning body lotion instead. If you use it every day you'll build up a nice tan quite quickly (within 3-4 days) and there's no streaking at all.
You might not be as tanned as with Fake Bake but at least it'll look natural and you'll be streak-free. I like the Nivea and Garnier ones.

I'm always using Fake Bake- it's great for cack-handed people like me ;)
Make sure you moisturise well the night before and don't shave any less than 24hrs of application- you'll get weird dots etc.
I'd use a natural deodorant- Bionsen from Tesco is good- as it doesn't discolour go patchy around your pits :D
Get someone to apply the back for you (mR Moog calls me a twiglet) and try to avoid having supertanned knuckles and white creases by clenching your fist and smoothing over.
HTH :faint:
Good luck! :fingers:
