Question:
Hair help - hair forum is sooo quiet today!
Hi,
I had my blonde (highlighted) hair cut yesterday, and dried it without any styling products on it. O/H came home and thought I had had it coloured because it looked soooo blonde - the colour was gorgeous!
I usually use loreal hot volume mousse before blowdrying my hair on an evening, and then loreal hot curl on a morning before using my curling tongs. Plus then hairspray to set my style.
After compliments yesterday, it has got me thinking about how much these products must darken my colour, so was wondering about trying John frieda sheer blonde styling stuff.
Has anyone tried these? or can recommend others for bonde hair?
Thanks in advance!
xx
Hi,
I too have highlighted hair (well, it has v dark brwn and v bright blonde woven highlights).
I use TIGI S factor smoothing lusterizer before I blow dry and the same brand Gloss Drops - the drops really bring out the shine and in doing that bring out the colour. Whether it would work for you too I dont know but they get my vote - thats for sure!

I always find the Smoothing Lusteriser makes my hair look a lighter colour. I even get comments about haver a dyed my hair darker, if I don't use it.
A clarifying shampoo will also help to keep your colour looking cleaner and brighter.
Thanks for the tips. Where can I get smoothing lusteriser? A clarifying shampoo is also a good idea..
Pantene do a clarifying shampoo, or KMS and Aveda if you feel like treating yourself.
HQ Hair or Lookfantastic.com will sell Tigi S range - but have a look around for better prices. I think it's about £13.85 full price - well worth it though.
