Question:
CityBlock - changed
Went to buy some more Cityblock today, and noticed it now has the word 'sheer' in the title. I asked the Clinque lady if it was an addition to the range or whether they had changed it.
She said it had been changed as the old one was a bit white. I tried it on my hand and it seemed thinner and wetter.
I was going to buy it, but they didn't have the stock in, but I am concerned it won't give such a good base. I liked the cityblock as it did seem to even out my skin tone, before I wear powder.
Anyone using the new one?
Or reccommend another base with SPF?
That's interesting. I use this (the original one, in SPF 40) and I'd prefer it not giving any colour because I use moisturiser with added fake-tan on my face and the Cityblock makes me paler.
The Clarins one is more sheer and I do prefer it, but it's twice the price of the Clinique.
How curious! I have only just started to use the original version and really love it. I hope that they haven't changed things too much... :(
It just seemed more runny, I think I prefer it as a more substantial product.....not sure what to get now!
I actually liked the fact that it is slightly "white". It evened out my freckles!!
