Question:
Face Toner
Can anyone recomend a good facial toner? I have been using Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic for years but want to try something new as I am fed up with having to go to the sorting office on a Saturday morning to collect a parcel.
I don't want anything too expensive and it mustn't contain alcohol as I have got my combination skin under control and don't want to upset the balance by stripping it with a hard alcohol based product.
Thanks
I have the Dermalogica toner for sensitive skin and it's perfect for my acne prone combination skin. I love the fact that it comes in a spray bottle as well, that way nothing goes to waste (I spray it directly onto my face).
I've also got combination skin and there are three different toners that I like, all of which are alcohol free.
The cheapest one is Nivea Visage refreshing toner. This is the one I buy when my student loan is running out! It's nice and refreshing but nothing that special.
No7 Beautifully Balanced toner is also nice. I've just started using it. It seems really nice, not drying at all.
Origins A Perfect World Liquid Moisture with white tea is great for the colder months when my skin is a bit drier. It's supposed to have antioxidants in as well.
All 3 of these leave my skin lovely and clean without drying it out. I also use the Liz Earle one but it's a bit of a pain having to order it!
I love Dermalogica's Multi Active Toner. It comes in a spray as well and I spray on my palm before slapping ( i should be dabbing) onto my skin.
hb21, I love the sound of Origins' toner. Will give it a go one day :)
I use rose water as a toner and I really like it. Its very gentle but gets rid of any remaining grime. At the moment I use the one from Aromatherapy Associates but I'm sure you could get some cheaper. I'd definitely recommend it.
