Waxing Help Please
Hey everyone, im pretty new to this but i was wondering if anyone could help me. I fancy having a brazillian or hollywood wax.. just a little bit scared about going to a salon to get it done because of possible embaressment:o. I was wondering if anyone could give me any tips of how to do it by myself at home and which wax is the best for this kind of waxing.

I was embarassed about going to a salon to get it done but I went and it was fine. I guess to them it is normal so that puts you at ease.
For various reasons I got a home waxing kit last week, veet I think. Its not as good as a professional doing it but it did the job. The instructions are really simple to follow and it was straightforward, roll on, smooth over a piece of cloth, hold tight and rip off.
Given a choice though, I would go to a salon.

I wanted to get a brazillian done for years but I put it off because of the embarrassment thing. Then once I went to get an extended g-string and they told me to whip 'em off! After the initial embarrassment, it was grand! They're so professional and just chat away, and you just forget you're lying there starkers!
Honestly, the thoughts of it are actually worse than having it done. Its REALLY not that bad! Get it done professionally at least for the first time, after that it would be a lot easier to do it yourself. Go to one of those 'waxing only' parlors so you know they're experienced. And make sure to get the hot Lycos wax NOT the strip wax!!!!
i get mine hollywood-ed at Otylia Roberts and yes at first i was totally embarrassed (as it means no clothes on bottom half :o ) but hnestly, the therapists just chat away and you don't feel embarrassed at all within 5 minutes. I wouldn't reccommend doing it yourself as i think thehy use some kind of hard wax which u don't need strips with and its easy to cause bruising (i did try myself once with strip wax and thought i was going to die :faint: of pain and it left bruising), best get it done professionaly if you want a brazilian

Now that i have read what you all said it doen't seem as daunting now. I'm going to try and find a waxing parlour or find out from friends to see which is a good place to get it done. Thanks for all your help.. i'll let you know how it goes thanks again.
