Question:

Just a few bunny friendly questions.
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knew whether or not MAC, Clinique, Clarins and Christian Dior were bunny friendly.
I need to replace my mascara so I just thought I'd double check.
Thanks, Kelly:)

Answers:

i am not sure about any of them but i can tell you that Mac mascaras don't have a good reputation!

Hiya,
Are MAC and Clinique not ultimately owned by Estee Lauder ? I know that they have tested on animals in the past so would assume that the same would apply to MAC and Clinique. Not sure about Clarins. Also not sure about Christian Dior but I'd guess and say they probably do.

I did a quick google and it came up with these sites -
http://www.leapingbunny.org/color_cosmetics.htm
http://www.caringconsumer.com/pdfs/c...esDontTest.pdf
And another which said that ultimately, nearly all companies buy or use products which have been tested on animals even if they do not do so themselves. So it is unlikely you will ever find a true animal friendly brand.
That's actually quite disgusting isn't it?

Answers:

Yes, it is.
I was disappointed in The Body Shop when they sold out to L'Oreal as that was always the obvious choice when you wanted to opt for cruelty free products. At least I know my foundation (Lily Lolo mineral foundation) has been hurting any bunnies !
