Facial oil
Question:

Facial oil
Has anyone ever tried using a facial oil as an evening moisturiser? A friend is currently using a Clarins one for very dry skin, and her skin has become radiant - I'm most envious! I think they also do one for dehydrated skin (strangely my skin is both oily and dehydrated!) but wondered if any of you gurus had any experience of other brand facial oils, or using other oils as a facial moisturiser?

Thanks!

I use Shue Umura daily cleansing oil - it's an oil but you use it as a cleanser every day. I use the pink one (balancing) but it's not as good the green one (purifying) which is irrating as I used that initially as a sample - went back to buy it and they were out of stock so the lady recommended I use the pink one (as my skin is oily) STITCHED!
Just read that back - I don't half waffle :p

I use Neals Yard Rose Facial Oil at night, usually over my moisturiser. It makes my skin feel so smooth. Its great for dehyrated skin.

Hi,
I use a facial oil called Facial Soother by Comfort and Joy. (you can find the company/ online store if you google them). Its a 100% natural oil blend, which I have been using for about the past 2 months, both am and pm. I have found it great for my skin, helping to moisturise it but not making it greasy and it also helps to calm down any redness / blemishes.
But having seen the ingredients (sweet almond oil, rose essential oil, geranium essential oil and another I cant remember off the top of my head) I might just start to make up the blend myself at home, as it would be much cheaper!
If you google for facial oils and your skin type you can find lots of recipes for making up your own oils at home.

The Clarins lotus oil is brilliant for balancing combination skin. I only use it on my t zone where I get oily skin and it really helps to normalise my skin. I've got a little free sample of it but it's lasted ages!
