Spots - Why oh why.
Question:

Spots - Why oh why.
Right i had a great date planned for today with a guy i really like. Last night i did my hair planned my outfit and tried to sort out the few spots i had. Nothing major a few tiny skin coloured spots and one biggy.
So i decide to but alittle bit of this teatree spot gel (i think from superdrug) to calm them down ready for tomorrow.
I wake up this morning with a red circle over every one of my spots where the gel have burnt my skin  :cmdunno: :boohoo: :boohoo:
Right strop over, date cancelled (guy probably thinks i hate him), i'm sitting here (with fabulous hair i may add) and a face like a dot-to-dot.
How on earth can i get rid of them (especially the redness) buy monday.
I dont really have much spot stuff and home as i dont usually get spots (a couple during my periods and thats it) and i dont really want to go out the house right now - its that bad, not just spots but spots highlighted by an attractive red circle.
Will aloe vera gel make the redness go away? Or will i just have to wait it out :boohoo:

I find that Sudocrem really helps with reducing spot size and redness, I couldn't be without it now! :great:

Oh sorry to hear that you had to call off the date.
I rub some vitamin e oil in my spots, but personally if i was you and they are red i would just leave them to heal without any products hopefully the redness will go by Monday.

Thanks alot for the replies. I feel slightly less stressed out about it after putting some make up on.
Unfortunatly i dont have any sudocream but have heard so much about it, i'll definatly get some for any future crisis!
It's weird the actual spots are pretty much gone its just the red from the spot gel which is still here. Maybe i am better off leaving it till monday.

oval_divide,
I second Sudocrem. It is a miracle worker. When I get spots, I just dab some of this on, and the redness goes down, and the spot virtually dissapears with no scarring!
Savlon works as well, but it's not as good as Sudocrem in my opinion.
