Question:
Poor and dirty-faced!
Morning
Happy Saturday! :yay:
OK, so the title is almost true - I've nearly run out of Liz Earle C&P and really can't justify £20 on a new tube (or even £11.00 or whatever for the pump).
Can anyone recommend a good replacement that I'd be able to get either at the supermarket or a fairly big Boots? (can't brave the town centre on a Saturday!!)
I really like the consistency of C&P and am keen to keep using the muslin cloths cos they seem to be quite good in an exfoliate-y type way... I have tried the Boots Time Delay tub of cleanser, but was quite allergic to it, and also I really didn't like the smell!
Thanks in advance!

Yes!
Get thee to a larger branch of Tescos.
I've just discovered a cleanser in their new natural type range called B Natural Brightening Cleanser. It's even in a Liz Earle style pump.
It's under £4!

Wooooooohoooooooooo!!!! :yay: :yay:
Thanks Sheep! Massively humungous Tesco just down the road so I'll trundle off there later... and £4.00!!! What a bargain!
I think I've seen that range in-store actually... its new isn't it?

Yes - I think the range has only been out a few weeks. They have some other new beauty ranges too, which have some quite tempting stuff in!
Another thing you could consider is Lush's Ultrabland. This is another thick creamy (almost oily) type cleanser you massage in and then remove with a cloth. I found it quite good - but I couldn't get on with the smell of it (smelled really strongly of honey).
:wave:again!
I've got it! :yay: Smells lovely but haven't tried it yet as can't be bothered to reapply makeup again afterwards ;-)
Yeah the rest of the range looks fab as well... do think its a *bit* misleading calling it bnatural though as there is still quite a lot of rubbish in there... ah well! What do you expect for £4.00?!
There were 2 other ranges there too... the Spa range in kind of purpley packaging which has some really nice smelling bath stuff in, and also the Tesco Finest stuff which all the packaging has been redone and it now looks like Jo Malone stuff! Smells kind of like it too... managed to resist, but probably only til I go to Tesco's again in the week! All looks really good - well done Tesco!
Thanks for the rec again Sheep,
