Question:
2% salicylic acid for dry skin on feet ?
Hi,
I saw this mentioned on a recent thread about the Microplane Foot files....does anyody know where you can actually buy this stuff ? I asked in Boots yesterdady and the Chemist said she didn't know of any creams that contained salicylic acid at this concentration. She only had stronger stuff for acne which was only available on prescription.....
Cheers

How funny. I asked exactly the same thing in Boots yesterday, she said they had gel, but then said that plenty of foot stuff contained it. In the end I got Boots intensive foot care kit which was on clearance at £2.24. It's a scrub and a moisturising cream with a pair of cotton sock to wear overnight. You can buy the products individually too. I used it last night andmy feet are a lot softer (they weren't too bad anyway really). I know a friend on another forum has the same stuff and it took her five consecutive nights to get baby soft feet, so I shall do it again tonight also.
i sometimes use the BHA 2% on them and works exactly like the Benefit Sandal Scandal but after reading the Boots stuff has the same ingredients (cheers Disco!) am defo going to use that instead!
Hiya,
Where do you get the 2% BHA from ? Can you just buy that over the counter in Boots too ? I bought some foot cream last night and The Body Shop foot file but the state my trotters are in I think I'm going to be heading to B&Q for a Black & Decker sanding machine

Tell me about it, I have seriously considered a sander. Would be interesting to try this 2% stuff, but being a little daft, i'm not sure how to use it. Does it come in the form of a cream? Suppose, I shall need to ask the up themselves staff at my local boots, if I can't be enlightened here. :o
