Question:
Orange hands, Help!
Hey, anyone know what i can use to get rid of the orange left by fake tan on your hands?? My fault really, was too lazy to wash my hands after using my palmers moisturiser with tanning stuff in. I really didnt think it would do that though. My hands look all dirty, its horrible. x
How did the palmers stuff turn out?? Was it dark?? I've got some but don't wanna try it in case too dark hehe
Anyway, back to your hands. OK, you could try a bit of exfoliating scrubby stuff, just on the palms of your hands, that usually works ok for me. OR, somebody said whitening toothpaste tones it down too apparently, but I haven't tried that one!! :great:
lol, yeah its really nice and no its not that dark i dont think. I was using the dark nivea one before and that is darker. Palmers is nice as it does build up gradually. The best bit though.....NO YUCKY SMELL! I couldnt believe it. As it builds up gradually i didnt think it would be too bad if i didnt wash my hands....but oh i was so wrong. oops! Ill try the toothpaste thing, how long do you think i need to leave it on my hands for? x
No idea, it may take it straight off, or at least tone it down. I'm sure I've done this when I've got it in my fingernails, yuck & its taken it away.
So the palmers one smells nice then??Does it stink of palmers stuff strongly though, as too much of that smell & I'm like
I'm on the garnier one at the mo, but must get round to giving palmers one a go!! :great:
Its definitely not too dark, but yes it stinks of palmers - very sweet and sickly. I've used it about 4 times now, and have already bought the Dove one to try. I just hate the smell!! Its not horrible fake tan smell, but very strong!
