Question:
What's the most genius beauty thing ever?
I would have to say all of these tan maintainers - moisturiser with touch of tan in. I think they are such a clever idea and so many people, including self just find them a breeze to use compared to actual fake tans which take a lot of maintaining and quite often time consuming.
What do you think is the cleverest thing the beauty industry has come up with either in the past or more recently.
I'd say eyelash curlers. I have long but poker straight lashes and no "curling" mascara has ever made a difference, but curling my eyelashes and using a lengthening mascara on them looks as close to falsh lashes as I could get (I'd say false lashes, but I'm allergic to the glue!) Could never be without my Shiseido ones.
Also Tweezermans - I don't know how you're supposed to pluck with other ones, especially the cheap generic ones, they're so blunt! Tweezermans are so precise and relatively painless.
Skin brightening lotions/balms etc like Clarins flash balm and No7 illuminating lotions that makes skin glow and look really healthy.I love them all
Plumping lipglosses- up until relatively recently, the only way to gain that "plumped" up look was to have collagen fillers in your lips, but this look is so much more acheiveable and cheaper now due to these lipglosses.
Admittedly there are naturally some that don't really give a great effect but the ones that slightly tingle/ sting definately seem to make a difference to me.
Art is perception and appearances can be deceiving ;)
Hair straighteners, or to be specific ghd's.
:)
