Anyone use Clarins skin care-what's good?
Question:

Anyone use Clarins skin care-what's good?
...I've already got the gentle refining exfoliator, one step cleaning exfoliator and the eye revive, and Beauty Flash Balm on my 'to buy' list. I just wondered what else you'd recommend?
I've been seriously impressed with the One Step facial cleanser, it's fantastic. And I've been in love with the BFB since trying a sample last year. So, I think Clarins could very well be the skincare range for me. Very annoying that my skin has such expensive taste

I use the Hydramatte day cream or the Hydracare spf15 cream daily (depending on what my skin needs) and I love them both. They're light, quickly absorbed, and only a little is needed.
I love the fact they come in a pump bottle, so they're hygenic and therefore safe to use for longer.

I also have the beauty flash balm, and cannot recommend it highly enough. Also used the gentle toner which was OK, no problems with it, but nothing special. I prefer Kiehls and Origins for my cleanser and toner.

Overall, Clarin's skincare is excellent, and the spf15 hydarcare cream is a HG for me.:D

I used to use the cleansing milk and toner for oily/combination skin.
I found the cleansing milk a bit rich and greasy. I really liked the toner though.
It had a beautiful smell and was alcohol free. I had to stop using it as my skin got very oily and I found it a bit too greasy. On normal or slightly dry skin, it was lovely though. Which was strange as it was the one for oily/combi skin :meh: (it was a green liquid).
Don't know if you would class it s skincare but their gel tanner for the face is lovely too. Gives a lovely natural light tan, great for paler skin.
Oh and their facial oils are lovely too.
Also really love the beauty flash balm and eye flash balm, use them quite alot and really recommend them too.

I remember trying a couple of Clarins samples. both were moisturisers. One was the multi active day cream, my mum loved this although it was quite heavy for me. I tried the multi active day gel, same stuff as the cream but a lovely light gel formula. I did like it , I must get round to buying some,my skin seemed to love it!!:D

I use most of the products you mentioned Jen apart from the cleanser. I can tell you a few of the Clarins products I wasnt impressed it. The auromatic face mask is meant to help with congested skin but it was too drying for me. I tried the cleansing milk, cant remember what its called now, comes in a green bottle, well I hated the scent and it didnt actually make a difference to my skin. The multi active creams are quite heavily perfumed so I avoided those. The body cream and scrub didnt impress me either! The facial oils are meant to be very good though. They are right pricey but might try one if I ever finish my neals yard rose facial oil.
