Question:
covering up spots...
looking for some advice really... I have somewhat temperamental skin, which really doesnt like makeup (as in concealer or foundation etc, not eye makeup) so i dont wear it, only eye makeup and a little blusher. But sometimes it would be nice to be able to cover up- any reccommendations for a concealer that wont make my spots worse? x
I have pretty temperamental skin as well and seem to have atleast 4 permanent spots all the time. I don't like wearing foundation AND concealer during the day because it feel a bit heavy so I wear precriptives custom blend concealer. It is non commodogenic (so it doesnt make spots worse) but has a bit of moisturiser to disguise the flaky bits you sometimes get with dying spots and it's exactly the right colour. Only problem is it comes off easily in the summer with sweat so I'm thinking of getting Mac' studio finish concealer.
I think I'm rambling. I guess it depends on what kind of coverage you want. If you just have a few hardly noticeable spots I'd stick to tinted moisturiser or a good foundation with medium coverage. If there are more or you feel more self conscious about it I'd go with the concealer. Oh and remember to dust with a bit of loose powder on top to antishine and make things stay put :)
Thanks dooz! Where can I buy this concealer you're talking about? x
I think you can get precriptives colour blend service from most big department stores like slefridges etc.
