Bliss Poetic Waxing Kit
Hey girlies
Just a rec for anyone interested; whilst in NYC I picked up a Bliss Poetic Waxing Kit, at a mere $35 I thought it was a bargain for a Bliss Product and somethin Id wanted to try for a while, so I effectively killed two birds with one stone!!
The kit comes with a skin cleanser, waxing pot, instructions, spatulas and skin oil.
You cleanse the skin with the cleanser on cotton wool, then after heating the wax in a bain marie (which admittedly takes a little while) you apply the wax, you don't need to apply wax strips, you just pull the actual wax off itself. It takes the hair off really, really well and is more or less painless!!!! Honestly, I even tried it on my sister and she was very nervous but said exactly the same thing, that it doesn't hurt!! We think it must be because you don't take the wax off with the cloth strip, but aren't sure!?! Anyway... when you have waxed the area, you apply the wax oil again and it's all done!
I've only done my eyebrows, legs and my sisters eyebrows so far, I admit it does hurt a little more on your legs but eyebrows were fine, I hope to get around to having a go at waxing other places.
*Alledgedly* it's the same product that they use in the actual Bliss spas, so the price is worth it for what you would pay for the salon treatment, I've checked out the UK price and it's 40 English pounds, but still worth it and Im still saving, even if I just do my brows!

Ooooh that sounds amazing Princess!!:D Especially as you don't use actually cloth strips?? just peel off the wax itself?? Hmm, that sounds way less painful to me.:cool:
Yeah and honestly I got a better finish than when my beautician does it!
