Question:
i can buy Roaccutane online! But would it be wise?!
Hi girls:wave: i posted before about my skin, that i was going to the Doctors.I have terrible greasy greasy skin iv had for years and constant redness, and i still get Ance type spots from having severe acne when i was younger.
I went to the Doc and she was lovely-she was a young girl. She said she would love to prescibe me Roaccutane as it would be the perfect thing to sort out the greasiness but i dont have bad acne anymore so she coudlnt!:cmeek:
She had had two courses of it and said all her friends while training to be Docs got it too, and it was amazing- her skin was beautiful!:)
She prescriebed a Benzoyl Peroxide wash which might help help hte greasyness but i think will just make the redness ten times worse! And a Benzoyl Peroxide+ Erythromcin Gel(is that Panoxyl)
I havnt got them yet as theyre going to cost me about 13 quid from the Chemist:( 6.50 per prescription
But i just looked online and theres tons of places you can buy Roacc from!:D
A girl who works here had TERRIBLE acne about 2 years ago, but now her skin is amazing. I think she probably took roaccutane too.
I really don't think it's a good idea to take a medicine without a doctor agreeing though.
How much is the Roacc though? Probably a lot more than £13.
Lucyinthesky- it isnt really a good idea theoretically as they say you have to be monitored throughout it-its been linked to Depression and other things,But theres no way ill ever be prescribed it!
Keropi yes its very expsensive i think thats one of the reasons Docs can only prescribe it in severe cases!I know the wash and gel wont work though as iv used Panoxyl Gel which im sure is the same as the gel iv been prescribed for years, and the wash wont do much!
I know Roaccutane COULD have really good effects though on the greasiness and spots!

Woo that roaccutane is expensive! I don't think it would be a good idea to buy it. Its pretty powerful stuff and my brother used this for severe acne and had to be prescribed it by a skin specialist at the hospital.
A few years ago I used to use Oxytetracycline and Panoxyl Gel and they both worked great. Maybe you could try out the gels you've been prescribed and see how it goes? The Panoxyl really does work on cutting out the greasiness. A little goes a long way.
ETA: Just noticed you said you have used Panoxyl before hehe. Have you tried Oxytetracycline?
