Question:
Dry Itchy Skin On Legs
Can anyone recommend anything good for this? My legs are sooo dry and itchy after a shower or bath.
Would just a normal body lotion be enough?
I used to get this and found that I was allergic to the lubricating strip found on most disposable ladies razors! It leaves a slight film behind after shaving and whichever brand I tried I spent the rest of the evening after having a bath scratching like a dog!! This may be completely irrelevant but I wanted to mention it :o
A good moisturising lotion should be enough - or if you have really dry skin how about a body oil or body butter?
You could always keep it in the fridge too for an ultra cooling effect
Is it on your shins? I get this as well, I find E45 lotion is best.
It's mainly on my calves/calfs (or however it's written!) and my lower leg.
Putting some lotion in the fridge sounds like a good idea - I think I will try that.
I used to suffer from the same problem but I use a combination of the body shops shea butter and L'occitanes shea butter lotion. Basically anything with shea butter is excellent for dry skin especially on the legs.
