photo shoot
Question:

photo shoot
Hi guys, iv agreed to be in a charity photo shoot in about a months time and it involves being naked (or at least appearing naked). I want my skin to look really nice for it. I really want the skin on my chest to look smooth and silky as at the moment its not too good. Also as its for charity i will be doing my own makeup, so im looking for products that are going to photograph really well. The shoot is going to be set on the beach, so the makeup has to fit with the theme.
Any suggestions?

Wow you're brave!!!
What would you say is your skin type on your body? You say the skin on your chest isn't as soft and smooth as you want it to be... is that because its quite dry? Or something else?
I would say exfoliation is the best way to get really smooth glowing skin. I use exfoliating gloves from the body shop, I find them so much more effective than body scrubs and the like.
Then, regular moisturising up the the day. If you needed some intensive moisturising you could use something like aqueous cream which is dead cheap but isnt filled with perfume or silicones which dont add anything to the quality of the skin long term.
But for the actual day I would go for one of those body lotions that have reflective particles in it, like palmers cocoa butter body gloss. Or, if its going to be sunny, then one of the sun screens with the same kind of shimmer. (I believe nivea do one?)

My skin is generally ok, but i find that its quite sensetive, and comes out in rash/bumps/spots when i moisturise-hence i dont do it as often as i should. I generally try and use as few products as possible on my skin. i do like the idea of using a body gloss for the day though.
Il be holding a surf board though, so the only bits youl see are my legs, abit of bum, arm and chest area(not boobs).

Body brush, body brush, body brush!
I cannot stress how amazing this makes your skin. I do it for 10 minutes every morning before I go in the shower, and the results are almost instant. It brings all the blood to the surface, exfoliates, tightens the skin and just makes it feel smooth and look radiant.
What a brave lady - good for you!
