I need a new foundation ! Help !
Question:

I need a new foundation ! Help !

I know I've gone overboard lately and spent too much on make-up and clothes. But I need a new foundation....
My current ones are Diorskin fluide #300 and Studio Fix MAC NC35 , but I need one thats got a more yellow undertone. A lot of foundations are slightly too pink for me and I've found that it just drowns my blush out and look slightly blotchy.
So, anyone got any recs ? Anyone used Shu Uemura ?-because its a Japanese brand, I'm thinking the foundations cater more for us yellow undertoned ladies.
I need a fluide one with medium coverage, and with some luck an SPF, slightly glowy sheen too-my skin doesnt respond well to matt foundations. I'm looking for a flawless, natural and dewy foundation, so not too much to ask !
Ok, ladies, hit me with the recs please  :)

hey lil!
i think lancome foundations aren't too pinky. i use adaptive in porcelaine and i find it has enough yellow in it. its not to matte looking and i find it leaves a nice natural (but enough to cover any imperfections) finish too. maybe worth a look?
also i remember reading that some of the chanel foundations have good yellow undertone in them. not sure which one though!
or maybe you could try bobbi brown?
sorry i haven't really narrowed it down have i? :p

Hey Princess ,
I was hoping you'd post-esp having a similar skintone to me :)
I'll have a quick look at Lancome in Boots tmw !Is the Porcelaine shade the lightest shade there is? Chanel and BB have good recs too, especially the Chanel Vitalumiere ??? :cmdunno:
I'll have to remember to bring a good sized mirror with me tmw...!
Thanks Princess !

no probs! ;)
yeah porcelaine is the lightest shade that is available over here i think. i remember seeing a lighter shade on the internet somewhere but i never seen that shade at the counters here so i guess porcelaine is the lightest one here.
it might be the vitalumiere that i'm thinking of but not sure but definately check the chanel counter out. i love chanel cosmetics!
good luck finding your perfect foundation, i know what a pain it can be trying to find the right one!
report back when you find one... hehe i'm always interested to hear what else is out there! :D

I love Bourjois Happy Light :great: I'm not sure if it has an SPF in it but it definitely gives a radiant glowy finish. I hate pinky foundations too but I use the Beige Clair shade and it's perfect for my skin. They do quite a good range of shades too :)
