help please - my skin!
Question:

help please - my skin!
Ok, i will try again, as i just typed this whole long message and HB died on me - TWICE!

Up until maybe 6-8 months ago, i have always had normal blemish free skin. Not too oily, not dry - just... normal, if a bit sensitive. Lately though, my skin has gone crazy. I am so oily i fear it will start to drip if i don't constantly blot (ok, maybe not THAT bad, but you see what i mean!) and the skin under my eyes has gotten extremely dry. i still don't have MANY blemishes, but many more than i used to...
My regular products now do nothing for me and i am tired of wasting money trying all these new 'miracle' products that are garbage.
So, since you all seem to know a lot about products and have tried tons of them, i was hoping someone could recommend some stuff for me - cleanser, moisturizer, under eye cream, whatever! Budget is not an issue, and i don't care if it comes from a drugstore either, i just want something that works!

Thanks ladies!!!!

Unfortunately the biggest factor in the state on my skin is my diet. If I go out drinking - a spot will come two days later. If I eat junk/processed food instead of pretty natural diet - spots come. If I drink less than my 2 litres a day - my skin goes bad.
This is what I've found to control my skin, I do also love St Ives Blemish control scrub and use that daily, but haven't found anything else that directly affects my skin.

that's the silly thing though - my diet and habits have not changed. i've always drank lots of water and eaten a healthy diet. i think it might be hormonal (as i went off the pill and got an IUD in August, because the pill was making me have terribly mood swings after 10 years or so)... TBH, i guess it doesn't matter why so much if i could just figure out some way to manage it! :)

I love Dermalogica. Maybe you could go to a salon for a dermalogica facial where they can recommend products for you? Also, they do trial packs. The cheapest place online I've found is www.jerseybeautycompany.co.uk followed by www.beautyflash.co.uk
I hope you find something that works. My skin started being really sensitive a few years ago when it had always been normal, and it's so upsetting!
