fake bake or st tropez?
Question:

fake bake or st tropez?
hi everyone. I've used st tropez fake tan a few times in the past and I prefer it to the cheaper brands I've tried but I remember finding it slightly orange still. I was wondering if you think fake bake gives a less orange colour? I'm naturally olive skinned and I've heard fake bake is quite light, have any of you tried 'Beyond Bronze Fake Bake'. Is it a lot darker? How about the fake bake which is especially for the face?

Answers:

I'm fair skinned so not sure how useful my post will be to you but I use fak bake (the kinda brown thick cream one) and st tropez (the whipped mousse one). I mix and match and can't say I notice much difference in colour. The FB is probably a bit darker, but ST doesn't look orange-y to me anyway.
I will warm you though that the FB does look really dark when you put it on and always looks streaky when its 1st put on as it just doesnt seem blend like the ST mousse, but when its time to shower it off the residue goes and the colour always looks smooth.

Fake Bake all the way for me, the mousse. I like it much better than the St Tropez mousse.
Beware - you WILL look like a mud monster when you've put it on though!!

Fake Bake.
It has a nice holiday tan colour and it doesn't smell of biscuits - which always helps!

thanks for your replies. Has anyone tried the fake bake for the face? I like the sound of that because apparently you can put it on in the morning like a tinted moisturiser, or put it on the night before and wash it off the next morning the normal way. I really want to buy some fake bake, but i'm worried about spending all that money and finding it's more orange than the st tropez I already have!
