Question:
Any Fake Tan addicts out there????
Is there anyone whose a bit addicted to fake tanning out there or is it just me? I hate hate hate being milky white, its so unflattering, I just love having a golden tan, it makes me feel better. I would say I tan about twice a week or sometimes 3 times if I am going out. The thing is its pretty smelly and my boyfriend hates the smell, well so do I for that matter, but he has to admit I do look better tanned than deathly pale, and its better than having leather here skin going on sunbeds. So I am sorry but I am slave to fake tan, I have tried them all. Anyone discovered one that doesnt smell like dead skin when its developing though because if there was one the company that made it would literally make billions!!!! I would be there best customer!!
I do find tan towels are less messy than lotions and mousses but you dont seem to get the same coverage and they can be streaky, they dont smell as fowl but you still have a slight reek!
Anyone want to join FTA (fake tanners annonimous)??
Hey Sallycat, why don't you go and get a spray tan done, it will last you about a week then if you use a tan enhancing lotion with it? I like fake tan but it always goes streaky for me so I have given up!

I bought a couple recently in the states which I am very impressed with, not sure that you can them here though?
Banana boat one which is a spray on one
Coppertone sunless tanner - very very good, slightly tinted, dries quickly so you don't feel all sticky, and very little smell.
Another one I have read fantastic reports on is Savage bronze from Sallys (the hairdresser shop) so I am going to invest in this one too.
Also an excellent cheap spray one which I have been totally impressed with is a Tesco own brand one, it is absolutely fantastic, last year I cleared their shelves of it so I wouldn't run out over Winter! It is excellent for using on face and neck and I usually put it on in the morning under my makeup, really can't fault it.
I highly recommend you join the Makeup alley forum as they do a rating of all different products on there, that is where I have found the cream of the crop in fake tans ;)
Ive always wondered what the fake tan addicts do about sleeping in the fake tan?
The only reason i dont fake tan it any more is because of the mess it makes of my sheets....so can you do anything to stop this?what do you do at night?:cmdunno:
