Question:
Origins Checks & Balances - any opinions?
I'm thinking about trying this as I'm looking for a new cleanser. Has anyone tried it and what do they think?
Hi hb, I've used it before. I have combination skin and it did seem to keep oil in check and clean very well. I found it a bit too drying on drier parts of my skin though. It would feel a bit tight after washing.
If you don't decide to go for it, Dermalogica's special cleansing gel is the same type of cleanser. It's much better in my opinion as it doesn't dry out the skin and leaves my cheek quite soft.

I didn't like this cleanser, I have combination skin and it didn't seem to help - I like that it was frothy though!
I have just tried this cleanser and whilst it has cleared up my spots, I have to agree with OriginalCandy, it is very drying and now istead of spots I have dry skin patches :cmdunno:
Thanks girls! I don't really want to dry my skin out so I might give it a miss. I'm using a sample of lancome gel clarte at the minute and I actually really like it so I might get that instead.
