Question:
Spots on body
Does anyone suffer with this, particularly back/chest/arms.
I want your stories - the causes/prevention/cure???
Thanks a lot

Hi!
I used to get them on my back at the top round my shoulders until I realised it was being caused by the conditioner and shampoo running off my hair. Now I make sure I scrub my back after I have rinsed my hair.
The best thing seems to be exfoliating as much as poss. you can get shower gels with tea tree in which might help - I think the body shop may do one. And also I am pretty sure there is a soap from lush which is aimed at this problem... Sorry for the vagueness of that response!!!

Oooh, I never thought it could be conditioner! I get them on my upper back and chest, particularly if I have been ill or eating badly, and in the summer when its very hot.:cmdunno:
I usually put neat lavender oil on any spots, face or body.
Yep its usually the products you use on the hair and face so best to save body washing till last, also your skin can react to different types of soap/gels by breaking out so if it still persists try changing your products.
The most clear body skin I've ever had was with an Olive Oil marsaille soap!
I tend to get spots on my chests area, which is annoying as I need loads of moisturiser on it to stop it looking so crepey. My big boobs mean that the skin gets stretched easily.
I've just bought a tea tree body lotion to helps control the spots but also to moisturise the area. My OH sometimes gets spots on his back in the summer and I use Ketsugo spray on them and they soon dry up.
