Tiny red spots on arms
Question:

Tiny red spots on arms
Right, I've had these spots for a while but they've gotten gradually worse over the last 6 months or so.
I've tried exfoliating, moisturising, massaging..nothing seems to be helping :(
I read somewhere that they're due to bad circulation but massaging them did nothing.
I really want to get rid of them by the summer so I can wear t-shirts and vests without being paranoid about the ugly red patches on the backs of my arms.
Has anyone got any recommendations for cream or anything else I can use? Cheers guys :) xxx

This is called Keratosis pilaris, unfortunately there is not much that can be done. It does get better in summer, and other people are not really going to notice so i wouldn't worry. Btw if you just put it into google you'll find loads of info on it.

Hi
I used to have the same things on my arms.
I used palmers lotion with aha and retinol roc. My skin looks better now. Maybe you could give it a go.

I had exactly the same problem for years and have finally managed to get rid of it by putting T-Gel Therapeutic Shampoo on my arms (tip from another bagger). It has to be the therapeutic one and it smells pretty horrible. I put it on my arms after my bath at night and then wash it off in the morning, i did this for 4 days. I found that my arms came up red and slightly sore for a couple of days but it was worth it as the spots disappeared. I also used those exfoliating mits (from the body shop) and massaged my arms every day which has prevented the spots reappearing. I dont know how this works or even whether its a good idea to put this stuff on your arms, but i know it works!
