Question:
Alternatives to waxing?
I'm on medication at the moment which means I can't wax. I am OK shaving my underarms and legs but I really don't want to shave my bikini line. Do any of the alternatives (the depilatory creams, etc.) actually work or do they just leave stubble and itch?
I find them quite itchy myself, and usually am left with an attractive looking rash!
Can you use an epilator?
Veet Hair Removal Gel Cream - the one with the bladeless razor, is the only one i've ever used that's been any good!
Everything comes off that needs too, it stays nice and smooth for nearly a week - and that's good for me, and no ingrown hairs or rashes afterwards.
Apart from that, the epilator is the way to go!
Thanks for that - will try that.(How does an epilator work?)
Its electrical like a shaver, but it pulls the hairs out at the roots!! In that area- it hurts like hell  !! But if you numb the area with a gel pack, not as bad.
:)
