Question:
BHA or AHA for breakouts on body?
hi
i really need something good to clear zit breakouts on back, chest and buttock!:o
can anyone rec a product that really works? thanks
Apparently if you get a wash with BHA's in, it should work.I also have a few on my back that won't shift and have been using a tea tree wash from original source.Think it may just be drying out my skin instead.
Also Neutrogena do a body wash, which I have yet to try. That one has been recommended on here before.Have yet to try it myself.
Will keep my eye on your thread as I'm interested in the feedback on this topic.
Sorry dont think Ive helped much thou:(

Will also be keeping an eye on this thread! I have breakouts on back and chest which just will not shift. Sounding dumb here but what are AHA and BHAs? :o
AHA are fruit acids
BHA are derived from thinks like aspririn for example Salycic Acid and i think Gycolic comes under BHA?
correct me if i am wrong on that.
regarding washes, i dont find they do 'enough' so thats why i would prefer to try a body lotion.
I suffer from back & chest breakouts too so will also be watching this thread for recs. :) I have been using Original Source Lemon & Tea Tree shower gel which seems to be helping a bit but it is not shifting the spots completely as I hoped it would. Have only been using it for about 3 weeks though so I should probably give it a bit more time to work. I wish products would give instant results but sadly it doesn't work like that....
I've tried almost every spot-fighting body wash on the market one of which was the Neutrogena one. I have to say, I think it's absolute rubbish. I used it for about 2 weeks before giving up as it caused even more breakouts which was obviously the last thing I needed. However, I think this might be due to the fact that it had salacylic acid in it which seems to irritate my skin. I have tried quite a few products containing this ingredient & they have all made my skin worse. :(
Anyway, I'm glad I'm not the only one with this problem. :)
