Question:
Make up application and Brushes
I don’t really use make up brushes – other than for blusher and eyeshadow and I’m thinking of buying some and I wondered if anyone could offer some advice.
Firstly, would you use a powder brush to apply pressed powder? I usually use the sponge that it comes with, but I’m wondering if I would get a better finish with a brush.
Secondly, I have recently purchased Chanel’s new foundation – pro lumiere. The instructions for this say you should apply it with your fingers. Does anyone use this and if so how do you apply it with fingers or a foundation brush? Even if you don’t use this product what do you guys generally think is the best way to apply foundation?
Thanks x x
I think the best way to apply foundation is with a brush.I always use the puff thing I get with powder to apply it.I do have a Bourjois powder in a brush though. It is one of those that comes with the powder inside the top of the brush so when you dust in over your face it comes through the brush, it does go on nicely and I do like applying with a brush but it can be quite messy.
