I need your help girls
My skin (on my face) is in a TERRIBLE state at the moment. It is soooo dry and flaky, I know it sounds gross but it is all flaking off, its really horrible :( - I am using 8 hour cream at night and then e45 moisturing lotion in the morning but it doesn't seem to be helping. Any suggestions??
Did you know that there is current medical thought that E45 actually dries out the skin? I've been slathering this on a lot to try and counteract my dry flaky face and it would probably explain the fact that my skin is starting to resemble a lizard.
In desparation I dug out an ancient Body Shop Carrot Moisturiser and a couple of applications of this has returned my skin to normal.
Don't know why I stopped using it in the first place!:rolleyes:
my son has eczema and my doctor told him not use E45 cream as it is too drying. I use Decleor hydra floral cream for dehydrated skin which is good. Maybe you could get a sample before buying a large pot.
Both me and my OH get really dry skin on our faces so I bought Oil of Olay moisturising cream for sensitive skin. I can only get it in Superdrug where I live and its about £2.99. Its the best moisturiser i've used. It works wonders.

The very best moisturiser ive found for very dry skin is Estee Lauder Verite Moisture Relief Creme (£36). its truly amazing!
