I was going to buy some of this fake bake, but then thought about a St Tropez tan, i was going to go to a salon but have just found out that college do it for £20 a whole body

I think you'll find opinion divided on this! :p I can't comment on St Tropez as I've never used it - I'm a Fake Bake devotee, but that's because it works fab on me and if it ain't broke...:D
Fake bake original cream one is pretty much foolproof. You might have to use 2 coats depending on how dark you want the tan, but I've never had a single streak with this and I've applied it whilst half-asleep, or none exfoliated/moisturised, in bad light etc, and it's always come up looking good.
I've recently got the new xtreme one (darker) which you can see my review of on the sticky.

I haven't tried the st tropez lotion but i do use the spray and have used fake bake previously.
I do prefer the St tropez bronzing mist (non shimmer one). It's easier to apply and doesn't feel tacky at all in fact it only takes 60 seconds to dry.
I can apply a full body tan in about 10 minutes, then i stay naked or put on a light dressing gown for 10 minutes just to make sure it's all taken then carry on as normal (avoiding water obviously)
1 coat gives me a nice noticeable golden tan, 2 coats gives me a darker tan.
I really love it but never shell out the £30 for it from Boots, i get it off ebay for about half the price:yay:
ETA: And the spray doesn't hardly smell compared to other fake tans

Fake Bake wins hands down over St Tropez! Lasts longer, doesn't streak, doesn't pong as much, looks loads more natural, doesn't dry my skin out like St Tropez, it's cheaper....
I get mine from here (I am sure they are the cheapest around)
