Question:
Help! Blusher blocking pores
I have suffered on and off with blocked pores in my cheeks which result in large spots which seem to take ages to heal.
I read in this months Marie Claire magazine that this can be caused by my blusher. Apparently, while most foundations and powders etc are non-comedogenic or non-pore blocking, blushers aren't.
So, can someone recommend a good quality but not too expensive blusher which will give me a sheer flush of colour and not block my pores? Although I have an oily t-zone my cheeks are generally normal/dry...
Any recommendations much appreciated. Thanks x

i really like bourjous paris blusher and i hcnat say its blocked up my pores at all and i have spotty oily skin
:D
The only one I have ever found is by Neutrogena, its called Healthy Skin Blends and its an oil-control powder, they do a bronzer, a pinky blusher and a translucent one. Unfortunately not available in this country but you should be able to find it on ebay - they sell it everywhere in the States. I got all three for about £12 on ebay and im really pleased with them. I suffer from blocked pores and the most revolting huge spots and I realised that they were forming on my cheeks where the blusher was. I immediately washed my brush and looked into a different blusher and although im still getting spots they are hormonal "monthly" ones and not related to the blusher any more - good luck:great:
i use natural collection pink cloud and benefit high beam

Thanks so much for the above reply. I'm glad you understand my problem. I'll check out ebay but coincidentally, I'm off to the US on a work trip in a fortnight so I'll do my best to sneak off to a chemist!
