Question:
Spot-fighting Cleansers?
I was wondering what spot-fighting cleansers anyone would recommend? I get occasional spots and find the need to use a spot-fighting cleanser and moisturiser to keep them at bay. I've used the Clean & Clear Advantage Wash which was good, but when that was finished I bought Loreal's Pure Zone Wash and I'm not convinced it's working for me - can't seem to get my skin clear of all spots - and I usually am.
Using the Pure Zone moisturiser too, and it's quite nice - but again I'm not sure if its as good as the previous one I used - Clean & Clear Moisturiser (the ordinary one, not the advantage one).
Any suggestions for other alternatives - Witch Hazel, Garnier Pure A, anyone tried these ranges? Need something mid-priced and available in Boots etc, not a dept store
I used to use Clean and Clear, I thought it was great, but I always had some kind of spot lurking about still.
So I changed over to Lush products.
I now use Ultrabland, Angels on Bare Skin and then Tea Tree Toner, followed by Garnier Pure A.
My skin has never looked, nor fel better. My makeup sits better on my face, and lasts longer...
And I can't remember the last time I actually had a spot!!
oh inca, you make me sick! ;)
Well, I used to be troubled terribly by them on my chin, so this is wonderful for me :)
I think it's the Angels, I leave it on as a mask sometimes in the evenings too.
YUM.
i've found that since giving up fizzy drinks my skin has been soooo clear, i havent had a single spot this year!
generally i use the st ives blemish control scrub 2-3 times a week and i alternate between cliniques 3 step system, and neutragena one which is a face wash as well as a mask and that product i find is amazing!
in the mornings when i'm pressed for time i use the clearasil pads, but not the clearasil ultra ones which are unbelivably drying!
mainly i think to have good skin it really is a combination of using lots and lots of moisturizer (i use clinique dramatically different) and drinking lots of water/vitamin C whilst cutting out fizzy drinks and other things which have lots of additives
