Question:
Johnson’s summer skin
Hi!
I have just bought a big bottle of Johnson’s summer skin body lotion thinking that it was the best thing since sliced bread but I’m afraid that I’m having some doubts!
1.It really does smell a bit like self tan which is not the most attractive smell at the best of times!
2.I thought that it had a really small amount of self tan in it but when I read the back it advises you to wash your hands after application – this is a pain – I am not a fanatical moisturiser and often do it in a hurry, will my skin become an uneven mottled self tan colour?
3.It stays damp for quite a while doesn’t feel like it soaks in very well, quit thin doesn’t feel as luxuriant as other moisturisers – for this reason it feels as if it would be better suited as a tan maintaining lotion in summer rather than intensive winetr moisturiser.
Anyone tried this lotion and have any thoughts?
25 looks and no posts...
So was I the only one who bought this stuff thinking it would be the answer to my dreams...only to be dissapointed?
i bought this at weekend and it does take a while to sink in the smell doesnt bother me i do agree its probably best to use when u come back from your hols rather than trying to look tanned
I know someone who uses this and she says its a bit annoying that it turns your fingernails a bit discoloured after a while and you do have be careful like its a fake tan, not just a moisturiser.
Word of warning though...don't overdo it! If you use it every day for a couple of weeks you might end up a bit too orange!
there are loads similar outhere at the minute i went to asda yesterday and they had their own brand, nivea, dove, garnier and johnsons, tesco do their own, boots botanics do their own and superdrug also have their own version.
