Body wash for oily/acne prone skin
Question:

Body wash for oily/acne prone skin
I have suffered from acne on my back & chest for years now & have tried so many different body washes to cure it but nothing seems to work. I can't wear vest tops in the summer & never wear a bikini on the beach or when I'm sunbathing as I am so embarrassed by it so I never really get a tan. :( Does anyone else have this problem or know of a body wash that actually works?
I'm getting really frustrated as it seems as though it's never going to go away so I would be really grateful if anyone could help.

I feel your pain!!! I'm the same, my back, chest & shoulders are permanently hideous. I seem to use as many masks & creams & gels etc on my back & chest as I do on my face.
Getting some sun does help clear it, but as you say it's too ugly to get out in the summer so I try & catch some sun in the garden as much as possible.
I find 2 showers a day & using a body brush also helps. As for shower gels I found Origins Skin Diver works, but it's expensive. I also like Sanex Dermo Sensitive Shower Balm which not only calms down my spots but also makes my dry legs nice & soft. It's not a miracle cure & doesn't work completely, but it helps. Unfortunatley I'm not sure anything but "growing out of it" will ever cure it, though at 28 I'm starting to wonder if I ever will!

Ask your doc for Dianette. The only thing that worked for me. Was on it 6 months, skin on back and chest cleared 100%, and has stayed 95% clear since coming off it and it used to be dreadful
