Question:
Why is my nose flaking?

My nose is peeling/flaking and it looks silly when putting foundation on.
Now I've resorted to putting rich creme on my nose and not on my face (as I just use freederm).
What can I do for this- and does anyone else have this??
Unfortunately I have this too Miss Sweetcheeks. I still put Freederm on to prevent spots but I also make sure that the area is well moisturised. Maybe at night try rubbing in the rich creme you mentioned & let it sink into your nose or maybe even try Vaseline. I find that makeup doesn't look right either & so I tend to only put a very small amount in that area so as not to accentuate the flakiness.

I've got this too atm, and the skin on the end of my nose just feels very 'tough' as well - I figure it must just be the skanky weather?!
I've taken to reapplying moisturisor in thin layers several times a day, which seems to be helping, and like Lisa, avoiding putting too much make up on

Do you girls exfoliate your nose alone?
I have found with experience that I have to be careful with exfoliating as I tend to get spots, so would rather not do my whole face!
I will start applying Elisabeth Arden Eight hour creme to my nose at night then, and see if that takes some of the flakiness away.
It's soo unattractive when viewed upclose :(
I exfoliate 2-3 times a week so that usually helps remove most of the flakiness but if exfoliating tends to cause more spots for you then you could try exfoliating just your nose to see if that helps. :)
