how did people get on with the Dove Moisturising Tan lotion?

Juts curious as I finally found this yesterday in Boots- and it smells gorgeous.
I plan on applying it today- but am worried about the smell- as Ganier & Johnsons holiday skin smell so bad when they develop.
Is it good, and does it give a good even tan?

Also interested to know. I find it very hard to believe that a couple of hours after application it isn't going to smell rank. All fake tan does.

My O/H hates it soo much, and I know if I apply it, he'll be sulking all evening :lol:
I can't stand it, stains your sheets, makes your bed smell and lingers even after a shower.
I know sunbeds are really bad for you but the person that invents a non stinking fake tan is going to be loaded cos i can't bring myself to use it.
I've just been using a wash off fake tan on my exposed white parts for when i have a night on the town and hope I don't get caught out in the rain!
I want to know this too! I'm probably going to buy it at the weekend anyway but would love to know.
I did test it on my hand in boot's a couple of weeks ago. and I didn't notice any 'fake tan' smell at all - though saying that I was smothered in Strawberry Scrub and body butter by a sales woman in TBS beforehand so that may have had something to do with it.
