I Want To Look Special
Just background info first.. Im in a fairly new relationship, but i have known him quite a while and we were good friends before we got together properly. This weekend we have been invited to a party (first time im meeting all his old friends and their wifes/partners). Im confident out with strangers ie nightclubs and bars , but when it comes to things like this i go to pieces. I think i have sorted my outfit, which is denim and black top (gone simple n sexy). But i just wanna look really well groomed and make a good impression. If anyone has any ideas i would really appreciate it.
I have olive complexion and very dark shortish hair, I usually play up my eyes, bit of bronzer and lipgloss,
I have one Midnight Star left so thats my Makeup primer sorted, but apart from that im at a loss. I know im probably worrying too much, and i know he thinks im gorgeous whatever, but im a girlie and just wanna look special for him.
What about a bronzey eye cream dotted over dark brown smokey eyes? I really love this look. Make sure your brows are groomed and stick on a bit of highlighter on your browbone and cheekbones, a flush of bronzer or peachy blusher and some nude/soft pink lipgloss?
What Beckabunga suggested sounds spot on, not too over the top but enough to give you have bit of oopmh!!
Maybe treat yourself to a body buff up - either at the salon or DIY at home. That way not only will your skin look fab but you'll feel great.

Been and bought a body scrub, gonna fake bake on weds night, gives it chance to settle down before weekend.
I have got plenty of brownish eye shadows, bobbi brown shimmerbrick and highbeam/moonbeam so will experiment laters,

i was just about to say bobbi brown shimmerbrick always makes me look, extra done and glam. defo stick with that.
