Question:
Cosmetic "look-a-Likes"-low end versions of high end products
So girls,
Anyone else got any cosmetic 'look-alikes', cheaper products that give exactly the same effect/look as their high end counter parts?
This was inspired by a little trip to The Body Shop, where I found a lipstick called 'Pink Clover', which looks exactly the same on me as my HG lipstick BeneFit's 'Um Um...Uh'.
It was around £8, as opposed to BeneFits pricier £12 (I think?).
Would be interested to hear of any others you've found!
lookie likeys!
MeMeMe at superdrug do a cheek stain which is about £6 - very like Benetint!
Flutter lipglosses and eyeshadows look very much like Pout products! I tried the eyeshadow liquid stuff that comes in a tube and its very good. I bought the lipgloss trio for £2.99, even though there was only one shade I liked but I am impressed, the colour is lovely and long lasting. I think the Flutter range isnt a permanent addition to Superdrugs though, it may just be for Christmas.

I still reckon that most cheapies are made by the same people who make expensive stuff....think about it girls, how many factories would there be in the world , if each brand had a different one...;) :cmeek:
The quality may vary a tad, but it's usually all in the packaging and advertising/SA involvement ,as opposed to 'off the shelf' buying.
what say you ?
