Question:
Opinions on a few benefit products
Hi there
Was wondering if i could get a few opinions on the following benefit products:
Dandelion
Georgia
Hoola
I've never been a great Benefit fan but these seemed to appeal, especially Dandelion and Georgia and i just wanted to know from you wise ladies whether it was worth checking them out :D
I have Dandelion and Georgia and I wouldn't buy again. I think you have to be really rather pale for them to make a difference and I have a medium tone skin.
You can notice a very subtle difference but imo they're over priced pink and orange(!) basic powders, I get more colour with my Rimmel Pink Blossom!
If you're buying them for colours you should give them a miss - they give the most subtle of glows possible unless you're pale when I imagine it makes quite a difference!
You need to be quite dark skinned to carry off hoola I think.
Why don't you go to the benifit counter and tell them you are thinking of buying them and get them to try them out on you (one at a time though may need 3 visits)
dandelion i found a bit bleurgh!
did nothing for me at all and if anything was an obvious pink yet a guerlain limited edition pink powder looks fantastic on me so it might be the shade of pink that was the problem (i am very pale but with neutral/yellow undertones) and also the guerlain powder has a lovely shimmer to it which i didnt find with dandelion
i sold mine to someone on another forum after a week!
actually i can imagine the dandelion would be great on dark sallow skin tones as it would pink the skin up a bit?

I will be hopefully, just wanted opinions first as to whether they were worth bothering with :)
I'd want them more for a peachy/pink glow(depending on whether dandelion or georgia was bought obviously) rather than as a blusher.
I wear fake tan all the time so would say i have a medium colouring.
I have heard mixed reviews about hoola, a lot of people have said not to use the brush that's with it as it applies too much and gives a muddy appearance?
Thanks for the replies
