Question:
Hair Serum - Help?
hey
i'm needing a good hair serum, don't mind paying a bit of money to get a good one cos tried loads and can't seem to find one
any recommendations?
xx
I've tried loads of serums from budget to super expensive, and my all time favourite is Avon Advanced Techniques Daily Results Dry Ends Serum (the one with the green top). It's one of the only things I repeat purchase from Avon. It smells lovely, makes my hair sleek & glossy but not greasy, and is currently on offer at half price.
I normally use Paul Mitchell SuperSkinny Serum, which is really nice but be careful not to use too much.
This was recommended by Carina Pieries who is a baddy and gets you to spend all your money on products that become your HG's and then you then need to repurchase continually. Do not ever listen to her if you have no money.
The Avon one Happybunny recommended, my mum has some of it and I stole some at the weekend - it's actually really rather good and so inexpensive! It smells just divine too! :faint:
I'm not usually into serums as I find they either do nothing or just leave my hair greasy and weighed down BUT I recently got a sample of MOP Glisten Shine Drops and I'm very impressed. I have A LOT of very long, thick hair and only need to use a tiny drop on damp hair which then leaves it shiny and smooth. Highly recommended :great:

Yes thanks for the kind words Holsblue  !
Yep would highly recommend super skinny serum. Great product for thick hair. Works better on dry hair though.
