Question:
Who was looking for natural sun cream??
this may be useful http://www.mollycoddlesofrochester.c...ll&c2=Suncream
Booty girl that may have been me.
Thank you .
After a bit of trawling to find one that is 'totally' natural after a scientist friend expressed doubts over some of the supposed naturals I put before her, I have come up with one by Weleda and funnily enough is the cheapest.
I have got it on order and will see what I think. What I am finding though is a lot of companies promote themselves as absolutely natural, actually aren't.

I am having the same problem. I want to find a natural sun tan lotion but it seems that there are even problems with natural mineral sun blocks - http://pureskincare.co.uk/shop/index...af5e3df9c34729 and http://www.abc.net.au/science/news/stories/s1165709.htm
Is the answer just to stay indoors? :(
Its a real pain isnt it.
Slightly OT but I got wind of some recent research which challenged the 'stay out of the sun' ethos. Of course sun exposure is ageing and can cause cancer but there are also many benefits which we, as a nation, are missing out on already due to having such low sunlight levels. Apparently the current SPF guidelines are based on Australian research findings and are therefore too strict for british weather. As a result doctors are diagnosing more and more people with conditions related to a lack of sun exposure.
I however, am fair skinned and red haired. My mother, gran and brother all had skin cancer (and luckily are fine now) so I'm not taking ANY risks!!!
Any idea if these natural sun blocks are endorsed by any SPF governing bodies?
Weleda do a suncream range too.
