Question:
What's the most disappointing product you've used?
Ok girls.
What's the one product (or two, or three :D ) you've used that you were expecting great things from, but has ended up disappointing you?
For me, it would have to be:
Touche Eclat. I was so excited when I first brought this, was expecting nothing short of a minor miracle. But, when I applied it, it made my under eye are just look chalky and a completely different shade to the rest of my skin.
Over to you
How long have you got...? :D
Kerastase *I heard so many fab reviews I went out and bought the shampoo, conditioner and hair mask and was expecting my hair to be ultra amazing. Instead it was like straw!*
Benefit Dandelion *Bought due to immense hype and it just does not a lot for me, I think you have to be really quite pale to notice this*
Touche Eclat *What the heck is this meant to be? Because it's a rubbish concealer, it actually highlights your flaws!*
Lush Ocean Salt exfoliator *Really harsh and coarse particles, stung and scratched my skin and brought me out in hideous rash and spots!*

A highlighter, says so on the box, I believe ;) I too prefer using a proper concealer.
My disappointing products would have to be
YSL Faux Cils - I really don't understand why people like it, I thought it was absolute rubbish. No dramatic effect except for the allergic reaction, presumably due to it being so highly scented.
Lili Lolo - believed the hype, got some samples, it didn't deliver :yuck:
Eve Lom cleanser - allergic reaction so bad my head swelled up and I couldn't leave the house for 10 days. I now suffer with rosacea which started following the reaction.
Another vote for Kerastase. It has a horrid bubblegum scent and left my hair feeling very dry. While Im on the subject of disappointing hair products, the GHD line (I know they have revamped it) was a big let down for me. The iron oil was the worst product I ever used on my hair!
Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum (or whatever its called!) - spent an absolute fortune on this and it did nothing for me! I perservered with it and I still didnt notice any results.
Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream - was recommended this for my dermatitis on my hands and it left them flaky and feeling horribly greasy.
Estee Lauder Pure Colour Eyeshadows - Horrid chalky stuff! Very drying as well.
Im sure I'll think of some more!
Carina
xx
Estee Lauder Uncircle eye cream - Couldn't get rid of my dark circles (although I doubt anything actually can) and gave me excema under my eyes :cmdunno:
Eve Lom Cleanser - Didn't really shift the congestion in my t-zone and I used the whole pot religiously!
However, i am still loving their rescue mask. :D
